Nurture
Trinity High School are proud to be a nurturing school. We have achieved the Marjorie Boxall Quality Mark Award and the National Nurturing Schools Award for our work in this area.
The 6 Nurture Principles underpin all areas of school life at Trinity. We have a Nurture Base, Skills Hub and Support for Learning Base which enable us to provide targeted support for our pupils.
We are committed to staff development and capacity building within the whole staff team. To date, over 20 members of staff have completed the 3-day Nurture UK accredited training. Staff across the school are aware of the Nurture Principles and use Nurturing Approaches in their daily practice.
Pupils from S1-6 can access nurturing interventions, and traditional nurture groups run for our S1/ 2 pupils. Please find more information below
